It seems almost cheating to begin this blog by choosing a wine that cost us exactly $9.99. But Thanksgiving is the time the Beaujolais Noveau hits the shelves every year and we usually pick up a bottle when they show up on the shelf. This is a wine meant to be opened up right away and enjoyed so we chilled it a bit and enjoyed it with some brisket that we barbequed the day after Thanksgiving. I thought it was a very easy drinking red and if you want to try it you will want to get yours before the New Year as they are usually gone by then.
